Useful reporting begins with a clear distinction between evidence, interpretation and uncertainty.
Sources and verification
We prefer original documents: regulatory publications, court records, product prospectuses, issuer disclosures and technical documentation. We link to the sources behind material claims. A company statement is attributed as that company’s claim; it is not treated as independent confirmation.
Format and scope
News reports events. Analysis interprets their implications. Explainers describe how a mechanism works. Sponsored material must be labelled. Legal and regulatory descriptions identify the relevant jurisdiction; they do not imply that one country’s rules apply worldwide.
Corrections and updates
Readers can report errors through the contact form. Substantive corrections are made in the article with a visible note explaining the change. Material updates change the updated date. Previous versions are retained in the editorial system.
Commercial independence
An advertiser does not receive control over editorial conclusions. Paid placements and affiliate relationships must be disclosed where readers encounter them. We do not sell favourable coverage or promise investment returns.
AI assistance
AI may assist research, drafting and production. Source links and the article’s transparency note explain the workflow. We do not fabricate quotations, reporting, credentials or reviewer identities.
